Antique bodice of a ball gown, ca. 1898. Cultural area: America. The top is embroidered over and over with silver sequins and silver steel beads. The embroideries are on a silk chiffon, which in turn is set on black silk satin. Half-length puff sleeves. Very well preserved. A few sequins have tarnished, a few sequins are loose. The lining is torn in a few places. The decoration is not included.
